Photographs on this site have been taken by Kamal Prashar for Tangled Feet (unless stated otherwise) and this site is designed to provide an ongoing record of the development of the show as well as an archive of the performances.
Currently you can look around the site under four main areas. Rehearsal, Performance, General and Video. These categories are pretty self-explanatory but depending on what feedback we get from visitors to the site we may increase these to accommodate what you would like.
Theatre ensemble Tangled Feet are experimenters in Physical Theatre and theatrical performance, working together as a unique performance collaborative to create work in new ways. The company believes in a process of complete improvisation and experimentation to devise exciting, challenging and surprising forms of theatre.
Tangled Feet aim to create theatre that captures an audience in a total experience and that stimulates audience’s imaginations; performances that inspire thought and question; looking beyond pieces of theatre full of answers towards something an audience can reflect upon and ‘experience.’
The company formed in September 2003, having trained at Middlesex University, London, studying Drama and Theatre Studies. Individually having worked in varying types of theatre by the end of the course the members met to work on a project combining all the facets that now constitute a major part of Tangled Feet’s artistic ethos.
The ‘HOME’ ensemble:
Director: Nathan Curry/Kat Joyce
Devisers/Performers: Mario Christofides, Tunji Falana, Susan Hingley, John Hinton, Vala Omarsdottir, Sara Templeman, Fiona Watson
Production / Technical manager: Luke Gledsdale
